Some churches do fun things to try and get people interested in attending. Linda's church sometimes does soccer or football tournaments. This coming Saturday, Taylor is running a big flag football tournament. A few times a year they do a huge kids fair with clowns, moon bounces, puppet shows (Tierney's puppet is always the star) and a cookout with hot dogs and cookies. This church seemed to have it's heart in the right place, but the sign kind of made me sit up and do a double take. I'm not sure you should show a photo of a friendly pig and have a petting zoo on the same poster that says there will be a BBQ. I'll have to tell Tierney about it. Maybe she can write a puppet show about a pig who goes to a church picnic and finds out he is lunch. Pigs should probably stay away from BBQ's, even if they are at churches.
